2021 marked the second year that Indonesians were affected by the global COVID-19 pandemic. In early 2022, Gueari Galeri invited all resident of Bekasi City, Indonesia, and its surroundings to submit their photographic works from 2021, interpreting Bekasi through their lens. This initiative was our way of reflecting on the city’s resilience in the face of the pandemic.
