Saskia calls it an emotional journey. For someone as sensitive as herself, a trip to Papua–whether it’s the second, third, or ninth time–always leaves her profoundly moved. She feels excited, touched, and often in disbelief. Unlike other trips, where she took pictures purely for aesthetic reasons, this trip to Papua was different. She captured moments for the stories behind them, to create a personal gallery and to allow others to feel the emotional journey as well.
